Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging General and Essential Mathematics and Science curriculum aligned with QCAA standards.

• Contextualise learning to align with various trade industries (e.g., Electrotechnology, Construction, Engineering, Automotive).

• Foster a supportive classroom culture that encourages student agency, wellbeing, and industry readiness.

• Collaborate with trade trainers and industry liaison officers to ensure a holistic educational experience for every student.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an adaptable educator who can build strong rapport with senior students. You should possess:

• Current Registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).

• Proven experience teaching Secondary Maths and Science (Senior years experience highly regarded).

• The ability to differentiate instruction for a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.

• A "hands-on" mindset—you enjoy making complex concepts accessible and relevant to the trades.
